DSPT 2024-2025 for NHS Trusts, Integrated care boards, Commissioning support units and Arm’s length bodies

From September 2024 the DSPT will be changing to adopt the National Cyber Security Centre’s Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) as its basis for cyber security and IG assurance. The CAF will be supplemented with a ‘health and care overlay’ to establish a comprehensive framework of cyber security and information governance as related overlapping disciplines. 

To help large organisations who are impacted understand the new changes, we will be running a series of webinars throughout July and August 2024 to explain the new requirements in more detail. To fully explain the new content, we will be presenting a different section of the DSPT each week – covering the following:

Session 1 – Background and overview session
Session 2 – Managing risk 
Session 3 – Using and sharing information appropriately and update on DSPT audits
Session 4 – Detecting cyber security events
Session 5 – Minimising the impact of incidents
Session 6 – Protecting against cyber attack and data breaches 

All sessions will have an opportunity for Q&A and will also be recorded and uploaded to the Cyber Associates Network workspace.
